WELCOME

Our laboratory research interests focus on how epigenetic (DNA and histone modifications) and epi-transcriptomic (RNA modifications) changes control gene expression programs in embryonic stem cells (ESCs), neural stem cells and differentiated cells under normal and pathological conditions, such as cancers and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Major research interests are:

  • Genomics

  • Epigenetics

  • Epitranscriptomics (RNA modifications)

  • RNA Biology (Editing, Small RNAs, lncRNAs)

  • Genome/Epigenome and Transcriptome editing (DNA and RNA)

  • CRISPR-Cas9/13 based screening

  • Regulatory elements

  • 3D genome organization

  • Embryonic stem cells

  • Regenerative Medicine

  • Neurodevelopmental disorders

  • Cortical organoids

  • Cardiometabolic Disorders

  • Cancer

  • Computational biology
